But I’m more than just the Numbers. Hi, I’m Marella. If you’re here, you’re probably looking at the law school admissions process and feeling exactly how I did a few years ago: overwhelmed, confused, and convinced there was some "secret handbook" everyone had except for me.
My path wasn't traditional. I completed my undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University in just three years while self-studying for the LSAT. I ended up with a 174 and multiple offers from T14 law schools during what has been called the most competitive admissions cycle in history. But behind those numbers is a story that started with a lot of questions.
Why I’m Doing This
As a first-generation law student, I didn’t have a roadmap. I didn’t have family members in the legal field to review my personal statement or explain what "holistic review" actually meant. One thing that finally led me on the right path was a great team of mentors, some law students, and some professionals in the field. I knew immediately that I wanted to pay their advice forward. Once I figured out the system, I knew I didn't want to just take that knowledge to law school and keep it to myself.
My Philosophy: Pro Bono for the Pre-Law
In the legal world, "pro bono" means for the public good, without charge. I’m applying that same principle here. I’m not an admissions consultant looking to charge you thousands of dollars for "secrets." I’m a student who just finished the cycle and wants to help the next generation of future lawyers, especially those who are navigating this as the first in their family.
To keep this mission accessible for everyone, my advice and resources are offered for free. For those who are able and wish to support the time and costs behind this project, I accept optional donations, but helping you get that acceptance letter is my primary goal.
A Little More About Me
When I’m not talking about logic games or personal statement hooks, you can usually find me watching the Cowboys choke away Dak's prime, hitting the gym, or playing Mario Kart with my friends. I’m passionate about Tech and AI Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, and International Business, and I’m ready to hit the ground running as a 1L.
I’m here to simplify the process, share the strategies that worked for me, and help you realize that a T14 seat is within your reach, no matter where you’re starting from.
